PastelFold ("the app", "we", "us") is developed by Minash. This policy explains what information the app handles and how, in plain language. PastelFold has no user accounts and no login — there is nothing to sign up for and nothing tied to your identity within the app itself.
We do not operate any backend server, and PastelFold does not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal information. We do not run advertising and we do not use any third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
The app keeps a few preferences locally on your device only, and never transmits them to us:
This data lives entirely on your device. Uninstalling the app, or using the "Clear App Data" option in Settings, removes it.
Wallpaper images and the app's content catalog are served from Cloudflare R2, a public-read content delivery network. Fetching this content does not require or transmit any personal information about you.
PastelFold offers an optional one-time "unlock everything" purchase. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play — never by us directly — and are tied to your Apple ID or Google account, not to any account with PastelFold. We use RevenueCat to verify your purchase and keep your unlock status in sync if you reinstall the app or use a new device. RevenueCat receives purchase/transaction information from the app store on our behalf in order to do this; see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for how they handle that data. We do not receive your payment details — those stay with Apple or Google.
On Android, PastelFold can request permission to write to your device's photo library so it can set or save wallpapers. On iOS, saving a wallpaper adds it to your Photos app the same way any app that saves images would. The app only ever writes the wallpaper you choose to save — it does not read or access the rest of your photo library.
PastelFold is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children, in line with the fact that we do not collect personal information from any user.
If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
